NIYANTRA is an opportunity for engineering students to solve challenging real world problems and get rewarded for it.
This contest encourages students to build complete working systems. The competing teams design and build systems for mobile, networked or standalone applications performing various intelligent tasks using NI Tools. Winners walk away with prizes worth 1.25 lakhs and an opportunity to display their work in front of industry professionals at NIDays in October. NIYANTRA also helps students build their ideas through mentorship and free training on NI hardware and software.
NIYANTRA encourages students to use a platform based approach to build their systems using industry standard COTS hardware and software, instead of building a system from scratch. One such platform-based approach is the National Instruments Student Design, enabled by the LabVIEW RIO Architecture.
